Welcome to Promise Landing

Hello friend, and welcome to Promise Landing!
My name is Gideon, and I will be your tour guide today! We have all been hoping that you would make it here. It has been a long journey, I'm sure, but one that has been full of interesting things; some good, some not so good. But the important thing is that we are here together NOW!
Did you enjoy crossing the Jordan? Didn't even get your feet wet, did you?
How about that wilderness experience? 40 years or 40 seconds, it is just as hot and dry there. Not the loveliest place to be, but sometimes necessary. I'm sure you will understand more as we explore what lies ahead.
Did I say that I'm glad you're here? Yes? Well it won't hurt for me to say it again will it? Not at all. Say, how about we get started on our tour! I hope you packed a lunch 'cause this is one big place! But if not, rest assured that there is more than any one person could eat in a lifetime here in Revelation City. Let's go!
What a beautiful day! Revelation City is such a great place to be. Just across the street is Trinity Park where you can play all day long without ever wanting to leave. I do believe that a picnic is in order, what do you say? But first, let's look around a bit. There is a Gallery where you can see the most awesome slide show while reading some relevant scriptures. There is also a place called Kiddie Korner where the youngins can find anything they want or desire. As you amble along through the Disciple Trees, you can try to find out which disciple is being featured this month. Don't forget to stop and partake of the Trinity Pools, where the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are waiting to refresh you, mind, body, soul and spirit. Can you think of anything more enjoyable? Maybe one of my balloons huh? What? Can I tell you what the Site of the Temple is? Well of course I can! Site of the Temple is an extraordinary place called "RevelationCity.org" where as many as Gods' children as see fit can donate to not only this wondrous city you are in, but many other organizations as well. You see, the bible teaches us that WE are the temple, the temple made without hands, so this site here is where we all come together and SHINE!
Now, over here is Teen Turnout where all of the youth of the city can go to meet with each other, talk about what is relevant on the teen scene, and visit some other sites where the Truth is spoken in terms they can understand. Because we all know that teenagers speak a totally different language!! You just gotta love 'em!
As we walk along together you can see through the trees a most beautiful and glorious cross. It sits at the corner of Grace and Mercy streets by no accident, I can assure you. This is the Cross of Salvation, where grace and mercy flow from its base like a river! (I like to sit at the cross and feed the doves!) Well, we have almost come full circle, but before we leave the park why don't we stop at the Divine Well and take a long, cold, sweet drink from His Divine Nature! It will set you free!!
Now I don't want you to think that this is all there is to Revelation City. Au contraire! As you walk along Faith way you can find a Health Center, a peaceful Library, the University of Higher Education, and of course a Church. You can't have a city like this without a church! Turn onto Perception Place and the first thing you see is the bible. Now that's a great way to start up your perception! World Religions come next so you can better understand the other folks who inhabit this place called Earth. The Hall of Justice is here as well as a community Bulletin Board, and a calendar of events. Shoot there's even a newspaper and UROK Radio for your listening pleasure! Don't worry, there's no getting lost here. There's a compass so you can always find your way. No city would be complete without a huge bookstore where you can find lots of awesome books filled with stories about Jesus! Also here on Kindness Street you can buy all of the hottest worship music at the Music Store, or visit the Movie Theatre and find something the whole family can enjoy watching together. Hey! Don't forget the popcorn!!
Ahh, I knew you wouldn't miss that big ol' building down there at the bottom! Okay, I'm with you… everyone loves the mall! Especially the Shoppers Mall here in Revelation City. But I have to warn you, you could go in there and stay for hours on end!!
